When one removes the covers and places the harmonica bodies side by side, one sees clearly that they are equal, the construction is identical. |

All, that is, except for the covers ! |

On closer inspection, one notices a small detail: Tuning marks on the inside lay of the reed, |

Turning the body upside-down, we see a small type of Turpotape guiding the reed towards its foot. Look even more carefully and you'll see the embossed marks of a specialist's handiwork performed straight along the slot. |

Plus another classic type of custom work becomes visible: 'Tip Scooping'. |

Glued inside the covers is a magnetic plastic foil, an interesting extension of customizing techniques that we have never seen before. |

It now becomes obvious that the Hering Golden Blow is a familiar old harmonica construction, but with a new cover, plus it's been worked on, using conventional customizing methods, enabling Overblows and Overdraws. |
